Best New Restaurants in NYC

New York is ever-buzzing. The hustle and bustle, the amazing food, the architecture and the energy is unmatched. Nowhere on the globe can you find a city as irradiating as this one.

With the constant flutter, everything is changing on a daily basis. New restaurants are opening on a daily basis, old ones are saying goodbye to their honoured place on the food map and the cycle goes on.

The heart breaks when one of our favourite food joints of all time shuts down in the city and say, if they have another branch in DC, we might just have to navigate to Washington DC to get another taste of our favourite food.

But, its time to move on and try something new.

Here’s a list of some really good new restaurants in New York City that are worth checking out:

1. Alta

64 W 10th St, New York, NY 10011, USA

Renowned chef and multiple restaurant owners bring another force to be reckoned with, Alta. Alta is an all-day breakfast, lunch and supper joint with a reasonably priced Mexican menu with something for everyone. The best include Aquas frescas, coconut yoghurt with berries, their two new amazing tacos, the suckling pig or the Brussels sprouts and of course, enchiladas.

2. The Grill

99 E 52nd St, New York, NY 10022, USA

The Grill is reasonably priced only during lunch hours if you’re into good food and savings. This high-end deal offers extravagantly priced hunches of beef and roasted duck during dinner hours and the vibe is that of the 20th-century fat-cat dining spots. However, during lunchtime, you can still enjoy amazing artisanal food without emptying your bank account.

3. Cote

16 W 22nd St, New York, NY 10010, USA

Cote is where the all-star American steak meets the humble koran barbecue and delivers one of the most ingenious food combinations of all time. The beef at Cote is aged, to perfection,  in their in-house meat locker and is combined with Korean delicacies like the egg soufflé, Somyun noodles, kimchi, soju cocktails and exceptional wine list.
