Brooklyn’s Best Pizzas – Part 2

Reigning over the country with the prestige of having the best pizzas, New York’s very own Brooklyn has its own gooey stories to unfold. Being one of the biggest food hubs in the city and serving up several types of cuisines, Brooklyn is said to be a capital when to comes to pizza.

There’s no need for a long-distance bus travel or a train commute to get here, certainly, no flights to be taken to find the right slice, just get yourself to Brooklyn and enjoy the cheesiest, chewiest, meatiest and yes, vegan-friendliest (not sure if that’s a word) pizzas.

Here’s a list of some of the best pizza place in Brooklyn:


1. Totonno’s

How to reach: 1524 Neptune Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11224, USA

What to eat: Margherita or Blanca Combo Pizza. People from all over the country come here just to have a bite of the Margherita at Totonno’s. The base is a blackened flaky crust with one half having slightly sweet tomato sauce, grated cheese, mozzarella and olive oil, the other has no sauce and garlic apart from the other ingredients.

2. Dellarocco’s

How to reach: 214 Hicks St, Brooklyn Heights, NY 11201, USA

What to eat: Dellarocco. Smoked buffalo mozzarella, Italian broccoli, Italian sausages, red pepper, garlic and basil on a bed of soft and crunchy dough. You could also try the Four Cheese, with Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Provolone and Parmigiano.

3. Guiseppina’s

How to reach: 691 6th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215, USA

What to eat: Pie. Here you build your own pizza. A $20 pie/calzone and a variety of pizza toppings ($3 each) like olives, beef pepperoni, shallots and mushrooms, give you the freedom to DIY your meal.
