Brooklyn’s Best Pizzas

We’d all have to agree that the New York has the best pizza in all of the United States. It’s there, you can look it up. And being the ruler, the city has pizza places lined up as far as the eye can see. They all seem like they’d serve up a delicious slice but the best is what we all really seek.

Every area has its own specialty and every place has the area’s best. You don’t have to take a bus transit from New York City to New Jersey or anything, just hop, skip and jump into Brooklyn and explore it’s spicy, doughy and cheesy secrets. Generations upon generations, recipes as old as the buildings the pizza place resides in and varieties that will astonish you.

One bite at a time.

Here’s a list of some of the best pizzas in Brooklyn:

1. Speedy Romeo

How to reach: 376 Classon Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11238, USA

What to eat: St. Louie. Provel is one of the city’s best-loved cheeses and there’s loads of it in this pie! A soft but crisp dough base dressed in San Marzano tomato sauce sprinkled hard with provel, Italian sausages, pepperoni and pickles. Oh yum!

Price: $23

2. Emmy Squared

How to reach: 364 Grand St, Brooklyn, NY 11211, USA

What to eat: The Vodka. Yes, that’s the name! A house made vodka sauce that smells delicious and tastes even better, with mozzarella, basil and pecorino. Alternatively try the Hula Hog (white sauce) a pie with mozzarella, bacon, pickled chilies and (yes) pineapples.

Price: Vodka – $18, Hula – $20

3. Vinnie’s Pizzeria

How to reach: 148 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211, USA

What to eat: The Cowboy. The best thing about Vinnie’s is it can be healthy AF. I’m talking gluten-free pie and vegan/vegetarian options. The Cowboy has seasoned ground beef, bacon, red peppers, jalapeños, sharp cheddar, mozzarella and ranch dressing. Drool alert!

Price: Small – $19, Large – $28
